Pavers Fort Lauderdale

Today, we want to highlight a project we recently completed for a homeowner who lives in Fort Lauderdale.  As you might have already learned, we cover all of South Florida, especially pavers Fort Lauderdale.  Even though our headquarters are in Cutler Bay, south of Miami, our company focus is growing and growing northward.

Tasked with the responsibility to remodel this estately pool deck, our team was able to provide an updated look without taking away from the natural beauty of the pool and landscaping.  Often times, our pavers are the focal point of the exterior – whether it’s a new driveway or pool deck, the pavers can sometimes overshadow the home itself.

The first step in any pool deck remodel is to install the bullnose coping around the perimeter of the pool itself and on the stair treads.  On a pool of this size, the coping took almost two days as it is a very intricate, time consuming portion of the job that really determines the overall quality.  Next, we laid down a bed of sand over top of the existing deck and installed the pool deck pavers over top.  Finally, we swept in sand and cemented in the border pavers throughout the perimeter of the pool deck.

In this job we were able to combine the natural beauty of the landscaping and elegance this large pool with a updated pool paver deck, but one that was not over the top in terms of color and style.  The homeowner specifically wanted us to have a muted tone and simple design.  Here, we used a running bond design with 8×8 pavers in a very muted mix of brown white and taupe colors.  The resulting design and layout yielded a cohesive balance and beautifuly updated pool deck.
